Intoto Inc. Acquires IPCircuit Inc.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 25th, 2001 - Intoto Inc., today signed an agreement to acquire privately-held IPCircuit, Inc. of Milpitas, California. IPCircuit Inc. is a provider of communication software for the Next Generation Networks addressing Network Processors.

The acquisition of IPCircuit Inc. enhances Intoto's product portfolio and accelerates product plans in the Network Processor market segment with voice convergence solutions. Intoto plans to deliver npFastPath solutions on network processors within the next quarter. These data plane software solutions include Firewall, VPN, MPLS-VPN, MPLS, AAL2, RTP, and other protocols supporting VxWorks RTOS and Linux.

Mr. Suresh Kumar, President & CEO of IPCircuit will join Intoto as VP, Network Processor Products and Mr. Satish Swarnkar, VP Engg. & CTO of IPCircuit will join Intoto as VP, Engineering.
