Intoto Now Shipping SSL VPN Software for Small-to-Medium Enterprise Gateway Applications

iGateway SSL-VPN Augments iGateway RGS and iGateway EX Product Families for Improved Secure Access, Threat Management and Productivity Assurance

IP4IT CONFERENCE, LAS VEGAS, November 14, 2005 – Intoto, a leading provider of network-centric secure gateway software for networking and communications Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), today announced production shipments of its iGateway SSL-VPN software platform to top-tier OEM customers for Small-to-Medium Enterprise (SME) applications. Intoto’s iGateway SSL-VPN software platform augments its iGateway RGS and iGateway EX platform families to enhance existing firewall, intrusion prevention and Web filtering for improved secure access, threat management and productivity assurance.

Intoto’s iGateway software meets the security requirements for applications such as unified threat management appliances, security appliances, security routers, secure WLAN AP and switches, and VoIP IADs. iGateway SSL-VPN allows users to securely access key corporate resources at remote locations through any standard Web browser. 

iGateway SSL-VPN complements Intoto’s current VPN solutions by enabling access to applications to remote users such as telecommuters, mobile employees, customers, and partners.  Depending on data sensitivity, the level of security varies per application that is accessed by mobile or remote users.  Because SSL is already widely deployed on PCs and Web browsers, minimal or no client software installation is needed. Its simple management and easy connection makes it ideal for network administrators.
