Intoto Announces Availability of Secured Broadband Solutions on Intel IXP425 Platforms Intoto leverages the power of the Intel IXP425 network processor to demonstrate a comprehensive broadband security solution that includes stateful inspection firewall and VPN INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM (IDF), SAN JOSE, Calif., -- (BUSINESS WIRE)—Sep 9th, 2002 –Intoto Inc., today announced the availability broadband security gateway solutions based on the Intel® IXP425 network processor. Intoto’s iGateway Firewall and iGateway VPN are fully integrated and ready for shipment on the Intel IXP425 network processor. This highly modular solution on the Intel network processor addresses OEM requirements for building flexible secured gateway applications and accelerates time-to-market. Intoto's iGateway Firewall and VPN solutions offer full-featured security functionality. The Cyber Defense Engine in iGateway Firewall protects against a large number of Internet attacks including DoS, DDoS, & reassembly attacks and has built-in NAT with support for a wide range of Application Level Gateways (ALGs). The iGateway VPN solution is a complete IP-VPN implementation including IPSec, IKE and PKI. This is certified by VPNC for interoperability and conformance. Intoto’s solution on Intel broadband platforms also includes application content filtering, authenticated remote user access, web-based management, logging and administration.
