SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 13, 2004 – Intoto, the leading provider of integrated security, wireless and voice software platforms to networking equipment manufacturers, today announced that it has partnered with Cavium Networks, the leader in security processing with the industry’s broadest product line, to deliver optimized implementations of Intoto iGateway security software platforms for the Cavium Networks OCTEON™ Network Services Processor family. The combined security solutions seamlessly scale in performance from 500Mbps to 10Gbps, enabling networking OEM vendors to rapidly and cost-effectively develop integrated content appliances, security appliances and services blades addressing requirements for SME, large enterprises and service providers.

The VPN module of iGateway EX achieved certification from VPNC. iGateway EX’s VPN software is an enterprise-class VPN solution with support for IPsec, IKE and advanced protocols for PKI infrastructure, while the iGateway Firewall solution is a full-featured, stateful firewall with NAT, application level gateways and user-based policies. The IntruPro software platform provides a turnkey Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) solution for OEMs, with advanced IPS sensor technology that accelerates performance and reduces false positives. More than just basic IPS functionality, Intrupro comes complete with sophisticated management software that provides advanced configuration and forensic analysis capabilities, as well as a signature update service that is maintained by Intoto.

Product Availability
