Intoto Strengthens Executive Management Team Marketing and Sales Effort Bolstered with Appointment of Two Vice Presidents SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- June 9, 2004 -- Intoto Inc., a leading provider of integrated security, wireless and voice software platforms to networking equipment manufacturers, announced today the appointment of Doug Makishima as vice president of marketing and the promotion of Subramanyam V. Dronamraju (DV) to vice president of worldwide sales and business development. Earlier in the year, Intoto announced an $11 million round of funding to fuel more rapid deployment of new products, continue its market share expansion, and drive further into profitability. “I am confident in the experience and abilities of Mr. Makishima and Mr. Dronamraju to lead Intoto’s expanded marketing and sales effort,” said Sathyan Iyengar, president & CEO of Intoto Inc. “These two seasoned executives will be instrumental in accelerating Intoto’s market penetration and will help take Intoto to the next stage in its corporate development.” Doug Makishima has over 18 years of experience in the networking and communications industries. Prior to joining Intoto, Mr. Makishima was VP of marketing for Hifn, Inc., a leading provider of security and network processors. Prior to Hifn, he was VP of marketing and sales for ParkerVision, a wireless communications company. He has held senior management positions with Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, AMD and Adaptec, where he managed the marketing and development of advanced networking and storage products. During his engineering career, Mr. Makishima developed patented storage IC technology. Mr. Makishima holds a BSEE from the University of California, and a MBA from Santa Clara University. Subramanyam V. Dronamraju (DV) previously held the post of VP of Business Development for Intoto prior to this promotion. Mr. Dronamraju joined Intoto in late 1999, and led the overall strategic and business development. He has been instrumental in making Intoto a leader in the embedded gateway security market and in extending Intoto’s market leadership in the Asia Pacific markets. Prior to Intoto, he was a management consultant with Arthur D. Little and led several strategic initiatives for fortune 500 companies. During his engineering career, Mr. Dronamraju developed and deployed several technologies including financial networks, virus protection systems, and data networking systems among others. Mr. Dronamraju holds a BE from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India and a Master degree in Management from Arthur D. Little School of Management, Boston.
