Telindus Access Products Integrate Intoto’s VPN and Firewall Security Software for Broadband Access Routers


SANTA CLARA, Calif., February 27, 2006 – Intoto, a leading provider of network-centric secure gateway software for networking and communications Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), announced today that Intoto’s iGateway Firewall and iGateway VPN software modules are integrated into Telindus’ broadband access routers. The Telindus 1221 ADSL router, 1423 SHDSL router, and the 1030 series desktop routers all benefit from Intoto’s advanced iGateway security software features.

 

The Telindus line of access products are based on the company’s proprietary Telindus Dynamic Routing Engine (TDRE) operating system that provides leverage for optimization along with a common IP fabric for enhanced functionality and maintenance interface across customer networks. Intoto’s stateful inspection firewall and IPsec VPN are incorporated with the TDRE across the different broadband product lines to deliver a robust solution suitable for deployment within large wired or wireless networks.

Intoto's Firewall technology in the iGateway software platforms provides stateful packet inspection, content filtering, protection from internal attacks, Web traffic redirection and Web based configuration. Intoto’s iGateway VPN technology includes IPsec as well as IKE used for automatic key negotiation. iGateway VPN provides data confidentiality, authenticity and data integrity by encrypting the data using DES, 3DES and AES. Authentication mechanisms used during the VPN setup allow only authorized remote or mobile users to access corporate networks. With VPNC certification, it guarantees interoperability with leading VPN solutions deployed in the marketplace.
