Deliver Enterprise-class Performance and Functionality

Intoto Booth # 2135 at RSA 2006

RSA CONFERENCE, San Jose, Calif., February 13, 2006 – Intoto, a leading provider of network-centric secure gateway software for networking and communications original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), announced today it will debut a combination of key technologies critical to building the next generation of multi-gigabit unified threat management (UTM) security appliances. Demonstrations at the RSA Conference this week will showcase Intoto’s iGateway software platform with integrated partner technologies at Intoto’s booth #2135.

Intoto will provide live demonstrations of its IntruPro™ IPS software running on Tarari’s RegEx Content Processor, new network-based anti-virus and anti-spam technology, and the latest SSL-VPN application. In addition, Intoto will demonstrate its iGateway security platform running on Cavium Network’s OCTEON processors, a scalable, multi-core MIPS64 processor family which integrates comprehensive hardware acceleration for security, packet and content processing.

“The seamless integration of these key technologies on a single platform is a critical step for OEMs to quickly bring next-generation UTM products to market,” said Doug Makishima, Intoto’s vice president of marketing. “We’re thrilled to partner with these best-in-class technology companies and be able to offer network manufacturers with the industry’s most feature-rich and cost-effective security gateway solution. This comprehensive, security-focused software and hardware package will no doubt fuel the growth of UTM products this year.”

According to research firm IDC, the network security market reached more than $9 billion in 2005, and is expected to top $11 billion in 2006. The UTM segment will grow to $2.4 billion in 2009, surpassing firewall appliances. Next-generation UTM devices integrate multiple security features, such as a firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, anti-virus and anti-spam protection.

“Cavium Networks’ highly-integrated OCTEON processor family has been designed to enable rich, leading-performance UTM functionality at the broadest range of price and performance points,” said Rajiv Khemani, vice president of marketing at Cavium Networks. “We are pleased that Intoto is providing their iGateway software platform on Cavium’s OCTEON processors. This will provide OEM customers an off-the-shelf, robust and scalable solution with fast time to market.”

“Intoto provides tremendous benefit to network equipment OEMs – and the company’s long list of top tier customers is testament to that. Integrating our anti-spam and Zero-Hour technologies with Intoto’s software enable manufacturers to take advantage of advanced messaging security in their next generation UTM products,” said Avner Amram, executive vice president at Commtouch.

“The rapid rise of blended attacks demands that enterprises employ multiple security approaches, including precision malware protection, to secure their networks,” said Vitaly Bezrodnykh, business development director at Kaspersky Lab. “By leveraging our secure content management technology, Intoto’s OEM customers will be able to develop products with the highest level of protection against viruses, trojans, spyware and other criminal Internet attacks.”

“As malicious intrusions, viruses and spam increasingly assail networks, we’ve taken the fight to a new level on Intoto’s platform,” said John Bromhead, vice president of marketing at Tarari. “The combination of Tarari’s RegEx Content Processor with Intoto’s IntruPro software delivers unprecedented speeds and performance and greater accuracy of reduced false alarms.”
